I really like the contrast and the feel of the bottom half of the picture, but the top is unsettling. Are those clouds real?

A mosquito flying at 12 m/s has a de Broglie wavelength of 5.5 x 10^30 m. Calculate the mass of the mosquito.

Yeah the clouds are real. I had to shoot multiple exposures to get both the ground and the sky right, but they're real.

The clouds are absolutely beautiful. Maybe bring the foreground down a little though, they compete a bit. Other than that I love it!

Was this done with HDR? It looks like the trees in the foreground got a little fogged. I've had that happen when the exposures weren't quite close enough. Get a bit of a line too sometimes. If you turn down the exposer (I'm assuming you shoot .raw) on the raw file before merging it might fix that. I think that's what is throwing things off a bit.

I ended up with a grey line just inside the edge of the trees. Drives me nuts because I can still see it. I'll try adjusting the exposure like you said. That might help a lot. Thanks! =D

I love the strong sense of depth in this image- it draws you in from every angle. The sky does look a bit photoshoped (i.e. copy-pasted), even though it wasn't. I love how it looks almost like a sunburst, though, and that there are a few small, almost invisible clouds breaking the pattern. Also the intense, bold colors and very wide range of value are to die for. Wonderful image, in my opinion!

"This too shall pass"
Take it in for all of its meanings.

Now, go and enjoy life! Why are we here? I don't know, but we are, so why *not* enjoy it?

Loren mentioned the cloads too. The sky was changing pretty fast as the sun set so I'm guessing that when I shot and merged the panoramic didn't line up perfectly. I'll take another look at that. :)
If any particular areas stick out to anyone I'm love to hear.

Wow. This is amazing, you have really come a long way with your photography. Needless to say, I'm impressed. :D

The clouds and sky are so very alive and it is as if you captured the flow and movement of the clouds.

Glad you like it. :)
The clouds were changing so fast while I was shooting the panoramic which is why the sky almost seems to explode from the center. I'm happy with it.

It made me smile and nearly cry with joy at its sublime beauty. It's almost like the sky is saying, "Remember how powerful and expansive I am!" or something like that. :D
